In 1891 Kodak began manufacturing photographic film and paper in four newly constructed buildings at this site in Rochester, NY, which is now known as Eastman Business Park. The campus would eventually grow to 154 building, spanning over 1200 acres, and become the largest photographic product manufacturing facility in the world, employing over 15,000 employees.

The Park’s tenant and owner companies are an integral part of its momentum and growth. Eastman Business Park is currently home to over 114 companies, employing over 6,000 people—many of them conducting business in the areas of our identified focus industries.
There is a well-documented need for middle-skill workers. We’ve formed a partnership with a regional college to help fill that gap. The onsite workforce development center will take a multi-faceted approach in creating a 21st century workforce.
