NY-BEST Community Briefing on April 20 at 9:00am at EBP

On Friday morning, April 20th, the NY Battery & Energy Storage Technology Consortium (NY-BEST) is hosting a briefing for the Greater Rochester community to update the public on the NY-BEST’s plans to establish an advanced energy storage Commercialization Center in Rochester. They have teamed with the Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE) and Eastman Business Park on this unique and important event.

NY-BEST is one of the top priority projects identified in the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council’s strategic plan. It is one of the cornerstone initiatives to help grow the Finger Lakes regional economy and advance the development of next generation batteries and energy storage technologies. Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council leaders have been invited to this briefing, in addition business leaders, state and local government officials and representatives from some of the companies participating in the NY-BEST consortium that are developing this cutting-edge technology.

The Community Briefing will take place at Kodak Theatre on the Ridge, 200 Ridge Road West, Rochester, NY at 9:00am on April 20 in the Colonial Dining Room.
