Congratulations to Mike Alt and SiGNa Chemistry on their recent Grand Opening! Mike, formerly Director of Eastman Business Park, is now Vice President of Technology & Manufacturing for SiGNa. The event was attended by New York State Lt. Governor Kathleen C. Hochul and many other dignitaries. SigNa produces stabilized alkali metal products, some of which allow additional oil to be profitably extracted from spent wells with no environmental impact. Their 25,000 sq. foot facility located in Building 218 is expected to generate 37 full-time jobs and 75 supplementary jobs over the next three years.
